Understand the concept of triggers
Know common types of triggers
Know ways to cope with triggers
The session discusses “triggers” or cues that prompt unhealthy behaviors. However, the session begins with a values exercise so that participants can reflect on their progress and further goals in relation to their values. Different types of triggers (such as for buying or eating unhealthy foods) are discussed, as well as ways to overcome them.
