Adaptations include changing the way the session topic is described. Participants are encouraged to “stick with healthy changes” rather than to “stay motivated to prevent Type 2 diabetes”.

Learning objectives
At the end of Session 17, participants will:

Think about their progress since starting the program

Have some ideas for how to handle weight changes after the program

Set a goal for after the program


In this session, participants reflect on their progress since starting the program. Participants are reminded that sessions will continue on a monthly basis after this session. Suggestions are made for ways to maintain lifestyle changes in the absence of weekly program meetings.
